Polish goalkeeper Łukasz Fabiański made the move to West Ham United from Swansea City in June 2018, and he quickly made an impact, winning the Hammer of the Year award at the end of his first season in east London.
Capped 57 times by Poland from 2006 to 2021, Fabiański is a seasoned veteran of five major international tournaments and was named Polish Footballer of the Year in 2019. He began his career as a league champion with Legia Warsaw at just 20 years old before making the switch to English football with Arsenal in 2007.
After lifting the FA Cup in his final appearance for the Gunners in 2014, Fabiański joined Swansea City, where he spent four successful seasons. He then returned to London, solidifying his position as West Ham’s first-choice goalkeeper and setting a new record for the most Premier League appearances by a Polish player.
