The Play-In stage of League of Legends concluded last weekend. Although there were some initial concerns, PSG managed to find a way to rally, sweeping North America’s third seed 100 Thieves (100T) 2-0. Alongside MDK, GAM, and PNG, PSG advanced to the Swiss Stage, which begins on Thursday. The draw results are out, and PSG’s first match will be against the LCK’s top seed, HLE.
After SHG’s elimination, PSG is now the only remaining representative from the PCS region. However, their performance against MDK raised some concerns among fans about their competitive form. Despite the short time between matches, PSG managed to adjust and brought their dominant PCS form into their match against 100T, securing both games in a one-sided manner.
With the conclusion of the Play-In stage, the full list of 16 teams for the Swiss Stage is now finalized. Riot conducted the draw immediately, placing PSG in Pool 4. They will face Pool 1’s HLE in the first round. The complete matchups are listed below. A reminder: since the schedule is tight, there will be eight BO1 matches held consecutively on both the first and second days of the Swiss Stage. Interested viewers can check the official website for match times before the games.

Swiss Stage Rules:
- In the first round, teams from the same region will not play each other. Pool 1 plays against Pool 4, and Pool 2 plays against Pool 3.
- After each day’s matches, the next day’s matchups will be determined through a draw. Teams with the same record will play each other (e.g., 1-0 teams play 1-0, 0-1 teams play 0-1) until a team wins 3 matches to advance or loses 3 matches to be eliminated.
- No rematches will occur this year. For example, after PSG faces HLE in the first match, they will not meet again in subsequent Swiss Stage matches.
- Except for matches that determine advancement or elimination, which will be BO3, all other matches will be BO1.
- The red and blue sides are determined by the initial draw pool. The higher-ranked pool gets the choice, and for matches between teams from the same pool, the side is decided by a coin toss.
- Teams that advance with records of 3-0, 3-1, or 3-2 will affect the quarterfinal matchups.
Note: The first match is scheduled to start at 8:00 PM, but subsequent matches may begin earlier or later depending on the duration of previous games. Note: The second day’s matches will start on 10/4 at 8:00 PM with 8 BO1 matches, and the matchups will be determined based on the results of the previous day.
